Step inside Saltine’s collaboration with SG Interior as their trusted PR agency. SG Interior worked alongside with Saltine to spread the word about their unique yet homely designs and how they have slowly but surely created a ripple effect of comfort within certain Singapore communities. Saltine had the opportunity to share not only SG Interior’s journey but also their clients' honest reviews and the emotional experiences that came with the renovations. SG Interior is a homegrown design firm co-founded by Max Tan, who has worn many hats before building this business. Today, the team has grown to about 40 people, all focused on creating homes that feel comfortable, personal and easy to live in.
A study on home environments found that 22.5% of people were unhappy with their home layout. Many also struggled with space, as 62% said there was not enough room for everyone to work or study, while 29% were affected by noise due to poor layouts. SG Interior have always made their work about listening to clients and turning those ideas into real spaces that reflect everyday life which solves a good amount of unhappy homeowners. We are able to see over these past few months the increase of diverse designs and clientele they have collected.
Saltine has dived into SG Interior’s design philosophy and how their work creates homes that feel both modern and welcoming. This helps us to understand the designs as more than just visual appeal but as a way to bring families together. In another venture, by exploring the concept of a man cave. We learned from SG Interior how a single room could be designed to reflect personal identity, hobbies and relaxation, which connected well with the magazine’s audience of modern professionals.

Other examples would be a feature that Saltine shared of SG Interior on their Japandi design, a style that combines Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian warmth. By presenting SG Interior as experts in balancing cultural influences with everyday functionality, the story gave readers insight into how homes can feel both calm and practical. With Home & Decor, Saltine pitched a variety of designs that revealed SG Interior’s versatility. Features included a 4-room BTO in Eunos that balanced functionality and warmth, and a chic condominium in Bencoolen that reflected understated luxury.

Lets shift the focus to community and daily living in SG Interior terms. SG Interior’s designs improved family routines and created spaces that felt easy and comfortable, making it relatable for readers from all walks of life.
SG Interior PR Agency shared a more emotional story with us and Saltine pitched the journey of a family renovating their home to suit special needs, showing how design could directly improve quality of life. This human angle added depth and demonstrated how interior design goes beyond style to serve real needs.

Finally, Saltine featured two of SG Interior’s projects that leaned into trending styles. One explored the modern Wabi Sabi in a BTO flat, showing how imperfection could be embraced as beauty, while another covered a Bencoolen condominium designed with low-key luxury, appealing to readers who wanted elegance that still felt livable.

Saltine’s approach has always been about showing more than just the finished designs. The stories highlighted client voices, the emotional journey of renovation and the practical lessons that come with turning an empty space into a home. This way, readers were able to see how design is not only about style but also about family life, community and the feeling of belonging.
